District Governor for Rotary 5790
![]() Angie is a long-time member of Lewisville Noon Rotary, where she served as club president in 2006-07. She has also served on the club Board of Directors in a number of capacities over the years, currently as Grants Chair. In that role, Angie implemented food pantries in ten Lewisville ISD schools to feed children living with food insecurity.
Angie was Assistant Governor for clubs in South Denton County and used her professional experience in Sales and Business Management to provide training and organizational development while maintaining open communication and increasing membership. She has also worked closely with the District 4-Way Test Speech Competition.
Angie is a licensed Escrow Officer with Allegiance Title and owns her own business, Cox Cleaning. She has served as a trustee on the Lewisville ISD School Board, including a term as Board President. Angie is active in a number of nonprofits in the South Denton area, including Women of Flower Mound, Keep Flower Mound Beautiful, and her local PTA. In addition, she is president of the board of Journey to Dream, a Denton County nonprofit that works to embrace, equip, and empower homeless, hurting, and at-risk teens to achieve recovery, overcome adversity, and live purposeful lives.

The Explore More Outdoor Challenge for Kids was created for kids (and visiting kids) in and near Evergreen, Colorado as a way to learn more about our Bear Creek Watershed. Kids are encouraged to take part in any of 5 outdoor challenges, including hiking, birding, wildlife viewing, plant identification and respectful recreation. Once they complete the challenge, they can bring their activity book to the Evergreen Nature Center and receive a special stamp for each challenge completed. Complete all five and earn your "Junior Naturalist" award! |
